About Temple Meads - Bristol's transport hub

Modern cities are founded on good quality communications and ease of movement. Bristol has a distinct advantage with the mainline and local railway station at Temple Meads. Plans for the station will transform the Grade I listed building into a modern transport hub in the centre of the city and at the heart of Temple Quarter. The complex is developing into a truly modern transport around the historic Grade I listed railway station.

When planned improvements and reconfigurations are complete Temple Meads will provide a seamless transport interchange integrating the rail services with buses, taxis, airport coaches, cycling, the river bus and rail parking. Varied and easy pedestrian routes link all these transport modes to provide good connections to all other parts of the city.
